We did this last minute as a group with friends. It was so much fun! The uniforms are so cute and we just wanted to make sure to pick different characters so I went for glasses girl!
I have loved the song Love Ward since I first saw the video. It was towards the bottom of my todo list since Adam has made us swear off Vocaloid but since Bodyline had this costume already made :> I had to buy it. It's just for photos but it's so cute, how could I not!
I fell in love with Penguindrum and decided I had to make this costume. We learned quite a bit from making this costume and are so happy with how well it turned out. We won Sams Judges award with these costumes
We spent so much time on these costumes but I am so happy about the results! I'll write more later

This was a backup costume for Sunday but it ended up turning into my main costume on Saturday for Momocon. I have to say I absolutely love it and it was beautifully made.
While watching South Park one night we decided to cosplay Stan and Wendy. It seemed perfect to wear for Winter Cons and Events. It's warm and comfortable. The only thing I had to customize was Adams Stan hat. I took two hats and sewed them together and added the red poof from the red hat to the blue hat.
This costume was such a learning experience for both of us. For me it was the first costume that I ever had to sew a bodice with boning or gather a whole skirt. I also learned a lot of patience with cutting out all those tiny tiny pieces for the wings and then having to color the edges black of each side.
I loved how soft and velvety the black part of the wings are and how glittery the inside parts. Hopefully we will get better pictures that will show it off better.
This was basically Adams first time using so much foam to build a prop. We also bought EL Wire and he was able to hide it perfectly. The biggest thing was that he actually sewed portions of the headphones. Before this the most he had done was sew a patch on something.
We didn't get this costume as finished as we wanted too and plan on updating parts for Dragon*Con but for Momocon it was fine.
We decided to go comphy for AWA because of the terrible weather (ATL floods started the day after the con) and we are so happy we did. We ran around having a great time. Everyone loves Mario and Luigi and we had even more fun in these Halloween costumes then we have had in any other costume.
It was really a nice change of pace from the previous costumes and honestly it made it so we had the most fun we ever had at any convention.
This is now one of my new favorites. Comfortable and it's from Ranma 1/2 one of my favorite Animes ever.
