Closet + Alterations to the Shirt
Description:

I had the blue skirt in my closet, I bought it a long time ago, I think back in middle school. I never wore it but I was looking at it in my closet and figured why not. We would just have to make a new shirt and that's it.

So making the shirt was fairly interesting, after finally finding a shirt we decided we where going to try painting on the stripes. Yea... even with paint that is made for synthetic fabrics it still bled like crazy. After multiple tries we decided to use bias tape and my poor hairbow. It came out pretty well. The only problem, I forgot to take any pictures at Momocon. All the lovely photos we have are due to the wonderful people who snapped our photo and posted the pics online.

Description:

After falling in love with Haruhi I talked Adam into us getting the Uniforms. We decided to go on ebay and buy them since I really don't care for making uniforms. Why should I make them, if I where to go to a school that forced uniforms would I make it, no. We saw some nice ones and decided to give it a shot.

We planned on making some other costumes but life got in the way, luckily we bought these or else we wouldn't have had anything new to wear to AWA. We both had so much fun in these costumes. It was so comfortable and easy to wear. After Jasmine I wanted something comfortable and this was perfect. I was able to run around, dance (Hare Hare Yukai anyone), and just be comfortable. It was amazing that when I was wearing this costume I still got recognized as Jasmine. Overall I love this costume and hope to do more Haruhi outfits.

Description:

2006: The wig was an iron maiden and the top was a sleeveless straight jacket. Overall this is our most popular costume but man was it painful. The wig was so tight and painful that I didn't realize my feet had blisters. This costume is one of my favorites, though, and I plan on fixing it so that I may wear it without crushing my skull.

2009: We fixed the wig and man it made SUCH a difference. It was so comfortable that I absolutely loved every bit of it. I fixed a couple of things with both our costumes. Aladdin got a wig :D (he still needs a new cummerbund that one still didn't look quite right and we ran out of time for it. Overall I am so glad we redid this costume. I don't hate it anymore.

In the FAQ I post tips on how to recreate a Jasmine/Aladdin costume.
